In the 30 years of the Tournament, The Rotary Sherwood Park Charity Golf Classic has raised $1,000,000, supporting local charities in the community.
A small group of local Rotarians started a golf tournament to raise funds for the Sherwood Park Rotary Club. Over the years, with the support of sponsors, participants and organizers, the tournament has successfully raised funds for local Rotary Club Projects.

Rotary connects 1.2 million members from more than 200 countries and geographical areas. Their work impacts lives at both the local and international levels. Rotary Club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally under the motto “SERVICE ABOVE SELF.” Local charities that have benefited from the Rotarians’ efforts include Strathcona Food Bank, Victim Services, Strathcona Shelter Society, Christmas Bureau, and Strathcona Care Center, to name a few.
